Louise Yeowart (b. 1988) is a London-based photographer.
She is available for portrait, documentary, lifestyle and editorial commissions and calls on her contemporary art background and love of narrative to inform her practice. Influenced by her personal experiences of fertility treatment, pregnancy and motherhood, her developing creative practice considers under-reported topics relating to women’s health.
Prior to becoming a photographer, Louise worked in the art sector for over a decade, advising clients including well-known artists, museums and galleries on communications strategy.
Happiest when out in the elements with her camera, Louise’s other great passion is long-distance walking. She views these encounters as research, using them to inform her creative approach.
Louise holds a BA in English Literature from Oxford University and graduated from London Institute of Photography’s Professional Photography Course in 2022.
